Plastic by the Piece 

A new service aimed at the Hobbiest.

Are you looking for smaller pieces of certain plastics, but do not want to pay

for the large quantity necessary to get that special plastic?  We have the answer in making plastic available in smaller

quantites.

Starting off, we have the same high quality lexan used to make our bodies availble in 3.5" x 6.0" individual sheets.  This is a

crystal clear, double masked lexan that obviously lends instelf well to thermoforming (not all lexan/polycarbonites do).

Availble in .010, .007, .015 and .020 thickness to suit whatever need you might have.  This can be glued with a thin (liquid) acrylic

cement or thin super-glue will also work. 

There is also white styrene for sale, in the same size sheet in .010.  This is a less tough plastic than lexan, easier to work with and glue,

as any model glue will work as styrene is what most models are made off.

All sheets are $0.50 each.

Teflon rod is a slippery, very-high temperature plastic most often used in bearings and bearing surfaces.  We have 3/16" rod in 6" lengths

for only $1.00 for those that may want to make there own bearings or have other uses for a virtually un-meltable plastic.
